Infosys reports 2.4% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Infosys has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.  

Infosys has reported a fall of 11.37% in its net profit at Rs 3157 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 3562 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 6.18% at Rs 16,620 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 15,653 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported marginal rise of 2.41% in its net profit at Rs 3690 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 3603 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. Total consolidated income of the company rose 4.20% at Rs 18,617 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 17,866 crore for the same quarter ended previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a rise of 16.91% in its net profit at Rs 16,155 crore as compared to Rs 13,818 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 5.79% at Rs 65,960 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 62,351 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 11.68% in its net profit at Rs 16,029 crore as compared to Rs 14,353 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 3.01% at Rs 73,715 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 71,564 crore for the period ended March 31, 2017.
