India Ratings assigns 'Al+' rating to BASF India's Commercial Paper programme

Credit rating agency, India Ratings and Research has assigned 'Al+' rating to BASF India's Commercial Paper programme of Rs 750 crore. Instruments with this rating are considered to have very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations and carry lowest credit risk. This is in addition to the credit rating of 'A1+' awarded to the company by CRISIL for its Commercial Paper programme.

BASF India is a chemical manufacturing company. It operates in the business segments of agricultural solutions, performance products, plastics businesses and chemicals. The agricultural solutions include insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and specialties.
