HDIL reports 5-fold jump in Q3 net profit (16-Feb-2013)

HDIL has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has posted growth of over 5-fold in its net profit at Rs 125.62 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 23.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 3-fold at Rs 453.89 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 132.24 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 31.09% fall in its net profit at Rs 107.35 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 155.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 1.48% at Rs 432.05 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 438.54 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
