HDFC reports 27.55% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit (21-Jan-2013)

HDFC has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has reported 16.19% rise in its net profit at Rs 1140.10 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 981.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 17.39% at Rs 5250.40 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4472.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 27.55% rise in its net profit at Rs 1705.83 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 1337.38 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 58.28% at Rs 10139.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6405.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
