GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Reports 18% Jump In Q3 Consolidated Net (07-Feb-2012)
GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company has posted a rise of 10.74% in its net profit of Rs 59.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 53.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 20.30% from Rs 540.90 crore for Q3FY11 to Rs 650.70 crore in the quarter under review.
On the consolidated basis, the group has posted a jump of 18.48% in its net profit to Rs 355.21 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 299.81 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income of the company improved by 17.61% to Rs 2,850.26 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 2,423.51 crore in the quarter, year ago.
