CRISIL, SIDBI to launch sentiment index for MSME sector

CRISIL and MSME lender SIDBI have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch CriSidEx, a sentiment Index for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The index is expected to provide crucial insights into employment, business environment and foreign trade in the MSME sector.

CRISIL is a global analytical company providing ratings, research and risk & policy advisory services. It rates the entire range of debt instruments: bank loans, certificates of deposit, commercial paper, non-convertible debentures, bank hybrid capital instruments, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, perpetual bonds, and partial guarantees.
