Binani Industries reports loss of Rs 30.79 crore in Q2

Binani Industries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has registered a loss of Rs 30.79 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to a net loss of Rs 15.14 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income from operation has decreased by 43.81% at Rs 35.32 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 24.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Binani Industries is the holding company of the $1.6-billion Braj Binani Group. The business portfolio of Binani Industries includes sectors like cement, zinc, glass-fiber and downstream composite products.
