Bhushan Steel reports 20% fall in Q3 net profit

Bhushan Steel has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company has registered a fall of 20.03% in its net profit at Rs 221.20 crore in Q3FY13 as compared to Rs 276.62 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. However, the total income of the company has increased by 4.73% to Rs 2532.72 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2418.26 crore in the same quarter last year.

Bhushan Steel, formerly known as Bhushan Steel & Strips, is one of the leading players in the steel industry with steel making capacity of 2.2 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA).
