Asian Paints' arm commences manufacturing operations at Indonesia

Asian Paints' PT API has set up a paint manufacturing plant in Jawa Barat region in Indonesia, which was inaugurated on September 5, 2017, with a capacity of 5,000 tons per annum on a single shift basis. PT API has obtained the necessary licenses and approvals and has commenced manufacturing operations at this manufacturing plant.

PT Asian Paints Indonesia, Indonesia (PT API) was incorporated in Indonesia as a wholly owned subsidiary of Berger International, Singapore, indirect subsidiary of Asian Paints.

Asian Paints is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution of paints, coatings, products related to home decor, bath fittings and providing of related services. The Company's business segments are Paints and Home Improvement.
