Shriram EPC Group Bags Order Worth Rs 1 000 Crore (16-Sep-2010)

Shriram EPC (SEPC) and its associate companies have been awarded orders worth about Rs 1,000 crore across various business divisions.
The company has bagged an order amounting to Rs 900 crore from Shalivahana Cement Industries (SCIL), for setting up a cement plant with production capacity of 2.6 million TPA and clinker production capacity of 2.0 million TPA, in Adilabad District, Andhra Pradesh. The project is expected to be commissioned within 30 months.
The company has secured another order of Rs 48 crore (excluding taxes & duties) from Seven Star Steel for setting up a 12MW waste heat recovery based power plant, in Jharsuguda in Orissa. The project is expected to be commissioned within 18 months.
An order worth Rs 19 crore has been awarded to the company from the Kerala Water Authority for its Water Supply Scheme. The scope of work includes supplying and laying of pipes in Kochi city.
The company’s associate company Hamon Shriram Cottrell (HSCL) has been awarded order worth Rs 26 crore for cooling towers in Andhra Pradesh. The order comprises an order worth Rs 15 crore from Madhucon Projects for its Simhapuri Energy project and an order for Rs 11 crore from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam for the Vizag Steel Plant.
