SKS Microfinance To List The Bourses Today (15-Aug-2010)
SKS Microfinance will mark its debut on the bourses today. At the BSE it will list with a scrip code of 533228. The issue price of the IPO has been fixed at Rs 985 per share, the upper band of the price range of Rs 850-985.
The company came up with a 100% book building; initial public offering (IPO) of 16,791,579 equity shares of Rs 10 each in a price band Rs 850-985 per equity share.
The company is the largest MFI in India in terms of total value of loans outstanding, number of borrowers and number of branches. The Company is engaged in providing microfinance services to women in the lower income segment predominantly located in rural areas in India. In addition to its market leadership position and the expertise in microfinance which they have developed, they believe that their competitive strengths include their scalable operating model which leverages technology, diversified product revenues, diversified sources of capital and its pan-India distribution network.
