Himalya Launches Real Fruit Yogurts In Metro Cities (19-Feb-2010)

Himalya International , BSE Listed India''s first Frozen Food Company which exports its products to North America has launched real fruit blended yogurts in Metro Cities of Indian under brand name "Himalya Fresh".said Mr Manmohan Malik Chairman Himalya International Limited here today.
He said that so far only plain & flavored yogurts are produced in India by major companies and Real Fruit blended Yogurts has been launched for the first time in domestic market as healthy Breakfast, snack food and desserts. He told that the fruit is processed in the plant and then blended with the yogurts in complete hygenic conditions by the food experts
He told that the company has started marketing its real fruit blended yogurts in National Capital Region Delhi, Mumbai ,Bangalore and Pune in the initial phase .He said that company has started commercial production of real fruit blended yogurts with technical collaborations of US based company Preffered Vegetarian Inc who provided technical assistance for developing low fat vitamin fortified Real fruit yourts in indian market. He told that the fruit yogurt having six week shelf life is hundered percent natural without any chemical and preservatives .
He told that company is importing different varieties of berries like Blue berry. Straw berry and Raspberry fruits from North America while Mango, Peaches, Banana etc fruits are being procured from Indian markets
Mr Manmohan Malik added that company has set up most modern plant for manufacturing the product with total cost of five crore rupees at Paonta sahib in himachal pradesh and all the equipments and machinery has been imported from the USA
Sh Manmohan Malik Chairman Himalya International told that the company has launched fruit yogurts blended with strawberry, strawberry banana, pine apple and mixed fruit in 150 gms pack in the initial phase and added that more variant would be added later on keeping in view the demand in the markets .He told that entire milk collections for the fruit yogurts is done through its own collections centres set up in 60 Kilo metre radius of the plant and the quality and standard is ensured through international quality stringent tests and HACCP Plan conducted in the chilling plants which has most modem equipments to test the quality and health standards of the collected milk . He told that company has appointed its own distributors in Delhi, Banglore,Pune and Mumbai in the initial phase and told that the product will be available in major retail chains in during april 2010..

Sh Manmohan Malik told company has set up the most modern plant for manufacturing the product at its food processing complex at paonta sahib in himachal pradesh and added that high speed automatic filling -sealing line imported from USA has the annual capcity of 50 million cups He told that company is procuring around 30,000 liters of pure & immediately chilled milk per day through 50 milk collection centers for procuring quality buffalo milk, from the farmers
