HCL Tech Gets HC Nod For Scheme Of Amalgamation (30-Aug-2010)
IT major, HCL Technologies has received the Delhi High Court (HC) nod for the scheme of amalgamation between the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary - HCL Technoparks. The scheme provides for merger of HCL Technoparks with the company.
The company has filed all the requisite documents with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) for the said merger. Following completion of all documentation work, the scheme of amalgamation has become effective retrospectively from the appointed date of April 01, 2009.
HCL Technologies had posted a net profit of Rs 237.82 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 192.94 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, up 23.26%. Total income for the reporting quarter had gone up by 14.64% to Rs 1,366.22 crore from Rs 1,191.71 crore for the year ago period.
