Videocon Industries Reports 23 59 Jump In Q3 Net Profit (11-Aug-2010)
Videocon Industries, one of India’s leading global business conglomerates, has reported results for the third quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The company has reported a net profit of Rs 153.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as against Rs 124.35 crore for the year ago period, up by 23.59%. Total income for the quarter has gone up by 17.50% to Rs 2905.39 crore from Rs 2472.76 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Videocon Industries’ business consists of manufacturing, marketing and distribution of consumer electronics products and oil and gas extraction.
