UB Holdings’ Q1 Net Profit Surges By 593 75 (21-Jul-2010)
United Breweries Holdings (UB Holdings) has reported financial results for its quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The company’s net profit has zoomed by 593.75% to Rs 7.77 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 against Rs 1.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Its total income declined by 2.85% to Rs 68.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 70.12 crore in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
UB Holdings is engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and export of alcoholic beverages, leather footwear, pharmaceutical products, agrochemicals and processed food. It also operates air transportation and engineering colleges through its subsidiaries.
