Reliance Infrastructure Net Profit Drops 22 21 In Q1 (30-Jul-2010)
Reliance Infrastructure has reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The company’s net profit has declined by 22.21% to Rs 246.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 as compared to Rs 316.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Its total income for the quarter under review has decreased by 10.48% to Rs 2408.47 crore as against Rs 2690.51 crore for the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
On consolidated basis, the group has posted a net profit after share in Associates and minority interest of Rs 375.29 crore for the June 2010 quarter as compared to a net profit of Rs 355.66 crore for the June 2009 quarter, up by 5.52%. The total income for the quarter increased by 4.42% to Rs 4,025.65 crore from Rs 3,855.13 crore for the same quarter of FY09.
Earlier in this month, the company had entered into a concession agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for six-laning of the 180-km stretch of the Delhi-Agra road project.
