Power Grid Reports 28 64 Growth In Q1 Net Profit (06-Aug-2010)
Power Grid Corporation of India has reported its standalone results for the quarter ended on June 30, 2010
The company’s net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 has increased by whopping 28.64% to Rs 703.18 crore from Rs 546.61 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. Its net sales for the quarter under review stood at Rs 2,149.69 crore against Rs 1,814.33 crore for the year ago period, up 18.49%.
The company has been carrying out its responsibilities efficiently in the construction, operation and maintenance of inter-state transmission systems and operation of regional power grids. It has been notified as the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country.
