Gujarat NRE rises on reporting whopping numbers in Q1 (09-Jul-2010)

Gujarat NRE Coke has announced its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2010.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 63.45, up by 0.50 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs 62.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 64 and has touched a high and low of Rs 65.70 and Rs 62.65 respectively. So far 30,63,744 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 97.90 on 06-Jan-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs 35.15 on 13-Jul-2009.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 65.70 and Rs 61.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3,518.25 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.46% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.79% and 20.75% respectively.
The company’ net profit for the reporting quarter has gone up by whopping 450.55% to Rs 20.04 crore from Rs 3.64 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
Its total income for the April-June 2010 quarter stood at Rs 453.73 crore, up 35.58% over Rs 334.65 crore for the corresponding previous quarter.
