Wheat Futures Trade Lower On NCDEX (18-Jul-2011)
Wheat futures are trading lower, tracking the weakness in the global markets, US Wheat futures ended lower on concerns about US exports. Meanwhile, the Indian government finally lifted the ban on wheat export that has been in place since early 2007.
The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 1180.00, down by 0.22% or Rs 2.60 from its previous closing of Rs 1182.60. The open interest of the contract stood at 12440 lots.
The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 1206.00, down by 0.23% or Rs 2.80 from its previous closing of Rs 1208.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 34920 lots on NCDEX.
