Wheat futures trade down on weak demand

Wheat futures trade down on NCDEX. Weak global demand along with fresh supplies in local mandies, impacted the sentiment. Further, estimation of strong production for the current year mainly lowered the prices.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 1,602.00, down by 0.19% or Rs 3.00 from its previous closing of Rs 1,605.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 7560 lots.
