Turmeric futures trade tad lower on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded marginally lower on NCDEX due to fresh selling by market participants on expectation of more profit booking at higher levels. However, improved up country and export demands for new season crop curtailed some loses in the turmeric price.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 7226.00, down by 0.08% or Rs 6.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7232.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 15855 lots.

The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 7302.00, down by 0.19% or Rs 14.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7316.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6740 lots on NCDEX.
