Turmeric futures trade tad lower on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded marginally lower on NCDEX as traders withdrew their bets in order to book prevailing gains amid negative cues from physical domestic and overseas markets. However, restricted supplies from growing regions have capped some losses.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 7012.00, down by 0.11% or Rs 8.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7020.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 11310 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 7086 .00, down by 0.06% or Rs 4.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7090.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5625 lots on NCDEX.
