Turmeric futures trade lower on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded lower on NCDEX, on expectations of increase in fresh arrivals at the spot markets due to improved harvesting activities. However, good export and improving domestic demand, trimmed some losses.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 6390.00, down by 0.19% or Rs 12.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6402.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 13705 lots on NCDEX.
