Turmeric futures trade lower on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded lower on NCDEX on expectation of higher production at the growing regions. Though, anticipation of good domestic as well as upcountry demand ahead of festival season capped some losses.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 7218.00, down by 0.08% or Rs 6.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7224.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 9640 lots.

The contract for December delivery was trading at Rs 7050.00, down by 0.14% or Rs 10.00 from its previous close of Rs 7060.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 7755 lots on NCDEX.
