Turmeric futures trade lower on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded lower on NCDEX due to lack of fresh upcountry demand at the spot market. Further, heavy arrivals from the producing belts too added pressure on turmeric prices. 

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 6690.00, down by 0.95% or Rs 64.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6754.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 7880 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 6856.00, down by 0.75% or Rs 52.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6908.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 13255 lots on NCDEX.
