Turmeric futures trade higher on improved demand

Turmeric futures trade higher on NCDEX, supported by technical buying at lower price levels amidst of improved upcountry and export demands for new season crop. However, gains were limited due to liberal arrivals from growing regions.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 6770.00, up by 0.77% or Rs 52.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6718.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 13630 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 6858.00, up by 0.97% or Rs 66.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6792.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 2010 lots on NCDEX.
