Turmeric futures trade down on NCDEX

Turmeric futures traded down on NCDEX on account of sluggish demand from retailers and stockists at the spot market. Further, increased arrivals from producing belts too fuelled the downtrend.

The contract for July delivery was trading at Rs 6350.00, down by 0.91% or Rs 58.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6408.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 10090 lots.

The contract for August delivery was trading at Rs 6426.00, down by 0.65% or Rs 42.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6468.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6335 lots on NCDEX.
