Turmeric futures exhibit mixed trend on NCDEX

Turmeric futures showed mixed trend on NCDEX as December contract edged lower as market players indulged in reducing positions amid supplies from the government auctions and arrivals of medium quality supplies. While, April contract edged higher as strong demand from the domestic as well as the export market pushed turmeric prices.

The contract for December delivery was trading Rs 7700.00, down by 0.10% or Rs 8.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7708.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4215 lots.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 7676.00, up by 0.03% or Rs 2.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7674.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5380 lots on NCDEX.
