Turmeric futures edge lower on easing demand

Turmeric futures edged lower on NCDEX on account of easing domestic and export demand at the spot market. Though, lower arrivals from the producing regions capped some losses.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 7304.00, down by 1.35% or Rs 100.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7404.00.The open interest of the contract stood at 19595 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 7206.00, down by 1.50% or Rs 110.00 from its previous closing of Rs 7316.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 12175 lots on NCDEX.
