Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Monday

Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday on account of buyer resistance in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 134/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 134.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 132/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 132.50/kg.

In the futures market, September delivery declined to Rs 132.60 compared to its previous closing of Rs 134.02 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
