Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Thursday with concerns over lower supply in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 131.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 130/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 129/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 128/ kg.

In the futures market, July delivery contract improved to Rs 132.25 compared to its previous closing of Rs 131.90, while August delivery closed at Rs 136.90 compared to its previous close of Rs 135.30 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
