Physical Rubber Prices Remain Unchanged On Tuesday (01-Feb-2012)
Physical rubber prices steadied at last session's level lacking any follow up buying, though the selling got arrested. Traders were waiting for more clarity after the recent volatility to initiate fresh buying. Though, the domestic and international futures firmed up.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 remained unchanged at Rs 189/kg and Rs 184/kg respectively.
In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for February delivery closed at Rs 192.59 compared to its previous closing of Rs 189.73, while the contract for March delivery closed at Rs 196.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 193.54 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
