Physical Rubber Prices Improve On Global Cues
Physical rubber prices improved on Wednesday, though the domestic future prices declined marginally but the news of Thailand's move to prop up prices helped the spot rates. However, buyers resistance prevented any sharp upmove in the commodity.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 191.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 191/kg ; while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 188/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 187/kg.

In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for February delivery closed at Rs 193.96 compared to its previous closing of Rs 194.08,while the contract for March delivery closed at Rs 197.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 197.99 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
