Physical Rubber Prices Ended Mixed On Wednesday (19-Jan-2012)
Physical rubber prices ended mixed on Wednesday, though there was upmove in the early trade tailing the gains in the futures market and positive reports from the international markets. However, the major consuming industries were not active in the market and the traders opted to remain on sidelines.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 191.50/kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 190/kg; while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 185/kg compared with its previous closing of Rs 183/kg.
In the futures market, the contract for February delivery closed at Rs 195.55 compared to its previous closing of Rs 195.82, while the contract for March delivery closed at Rs 199.40 compared with its previous closing of Rs 199.75 on National Multi Commodity Exchange.
