Physical Rubber Prices Declines Further On Buyers Resistance (10-Jan-2012)
Physical rubber prices extended their decline in the new week, lack of quantity buyers kept pressure on the markets. Apart from this the subdued demand from the major rubber consuming industries too weighed on the prices.
The spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 186.50/Kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 188.00/Kg, while the RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 181.00/Kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 182.00/Kg.
In the futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for January delivery closed at Rs 190.90 compared to its previous closing of Rs 190.67, while, the contract for February delivery closed at Rs 194.00 compared to its previous closing of Rs 193.73 on National Multi Commodity Exchange.
