Physical Rubber Prices Closed Lower On Monday (24-Jan-2012)
Physical rubber prices turned lower on Monday tailing the weakness in the domestic and international futures. TOCOM rubber after witnessing some good moves in last week declined on profit booking.Back home, trade remained mixed on buyers resistance.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety closed at Rs 190.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 192; while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 186 compared to its previous closing of Rs 187.
In futures market, the contract for RSS-4 for February delivery closed at Rs 192.75 compared to its previous closing of Rs 194.98, while the contract for March delivery closed at Rs 196.45 compared to its previous closing of Rs 198.98 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
