Pepper futures fall on sluggish demand

Pepper futures traded down on NCDEX. Sluggish overseas demand from the traders, expectations of higher production and selling pressures mainly lowered the prices.

The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs. 36100.00, down by 0.54% or Rs 195.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 36295.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 14 lots.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs. 35030.00, down by 0.74% or Rs 260.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 35290.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1383 lots on NCDEX.
