Pepper futures drop on selling pressure

Pepper futures traded down on NCDEX. Limited supplies in the market, deficient rains in key growing regions along with selling pressures mainly lowered the prices.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs. 35680.00, down by 0.31% or Rs 110.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 35790.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1320 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs. 35750.00, down by 0.10% or Rs 35.00 from its previous closing of Rs. 35785.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 972 lots on NCDEX.
