Pepper Futures Decline Lacking Export Demand (24-Jan-2012)
Pepper futures have declined further on Tuesday weighed by lack in export demand, weakness in Dollar was keeping pressure on the market. Though, traders expect the medium and long term trend to remain firm, though high volatility is expected in the short term.
The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 32,510.00, down by 0.31% or Rs 100.00 from its previous closing of Rs 32610.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5709 lots.
The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 32715.00, down by 0.06% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 32735.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1396 lots on NCDEX.
