Soybean futures trade tad lower on NCDEX

Soybean futures traded marginally lower on NCDEX as participants trimmed their positions due to weak domestic demand and expectation of higher oilseed production next season. Further, record Brazilian supplies and slow demand from top importer China too weighed on the soybean prices.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 3650.00, down by 0.33% or Rs 12.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3662.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 93480 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 3703.00, down by 0.38% or Rs 14.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3717.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 125770 lots on NCDEX.
