Soybean futures trade lower on subdued overseas cues

Soybean futures traded lower on NCDEX as speculators trimmed their positions, depressed by subdued overseas cues. Besides, lower sentiment in edible oil too influenced trading in soybean futures.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 3701.00, down by 0.78% or Rs 29.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3730.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1780 lots.

The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 3763.00, down by 0.58% or Rs 22.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3785.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 155110 lots on NCDEX.
