Soybean futures trade higher on NCDEX

Soybean futures traded higher on NCDEX as speculators enlarged their positions due to steady improvement in demand from the oil mills. However, expectation of good acreage for soybean in this season, capped some gains.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 3399.00, up by 0.68% or Rs 23.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3376.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 53860 lots.

The contract for November delivery was trading at Rs 3385.00, up by 0.59% or Rs 20.00 from its previous closing of Rs 3365.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 23640 lots on NCDEX.
