Soyabean Futures Trade Mixed On Thursday (19-Jan-2012)
Soyabean futures are trading mixed; the front month contract has weakened further, the commodity prices have been under pressure for last couple of days due to profit booking and fresh selling pressure. The arrivals in the mandis too have increased adding pressure to the prices. However, traders are expecting some recovery in the markets once the panic selling subsides.
The contract for January delivery was trading at Rs 2,323.00, down by 1.04% or Rs 24.50 from its previous closing of Rs 2,347.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 56190 lots.
The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 2482.50, up by 0.53% or Rs 13.00 from its previous closing of Rs 2,469.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 280360 lots on NCDEX.
