Nickel futures edge lower on easing demand

Nickel futures edged lower on MCX as participants cut down their bets amid easing demand from alloy-makers and other consuming industries at the spot market.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 875.00, down by 0.21% or Rs 1.80 from its previous closing of Rs 876.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 9172 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 879.00, down by 0.18% or Rs 1.60 from its previous closing of Rs 880.60. The open interest of the contract stood at 889 lots on MCX.
