Mentha Oil Futures Bounce Back On Bargain Buying (08-Feb-2012)
Mentha oil futures bounced back as traders enlarged their position tracing the commodity demand in the spot market. Market men were supposedly waiting for the prices of the commodity to dip in order to initiate fresh buying.
The contract for February delivery was trading at Rs 1,518.20, up by 0.59% or Rs 8.90 from its previous closing of Rs 1,509.30. The open interest of the contract stood at 3987 lots.
The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 1,534.90, up by 0.46% or Rs 7.10 from its previous closing of Rs 1,527.80. The open interest of the contract stood at 919 lots on MCX.
