Barley futures trade tad lower on sluggish demand

Barleyfutures traded marginally lower on NCDEX, due to liquidation of bets by themarket players tracking sluggish demand from breweries and other consuming industriesat the spot market.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 1737.00, down 0.14% or Rs 2.50 from its previous closing of Rs 1734.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 5710 lots on NCDEX.
