Barley futures trade higher on tight stocks

Barley futures traded higher on NCDEX on account of tight stocks position due to restricted supplies from major growing regions.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 1581.00, up by 0.29% or Rs 4.50 from its previous closing of Rs 1576.50. The open interest of the contract stood at 6490.00 lots on NCDEX.
