Jeera futures traded marginally higher on NCDEX, in line with short covering at lower prevailing prices tracking upward trend in spot demand. Meanwhile, despite higher production estimates, concerns regarding yield levels in Rajasthan also fuelled the uptrend.
The contract for June delivery was trading at Rs 15760.00, up by 0.03% or Rs 5.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15755.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 5352 lots.
The contract for Juy delivery was trading at Rs 15810.00, up by 0.06% or Rs 10.00 from its previous closing of Rs 15800.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1737 lots on NCDEX.
