Jeera futures trade modestly higher on NCDEX

Jeera futures traded modestly higher on NCDEX, because of increased demand for new season crop. However, some gains remained capped on increased new season arrivals from Gujarat.

The contract for March delivery was trading at Rs 16820.00, gained by 0.6 % or Rs 100.00 from its previous closing of Rs 16720.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 10854 lots.

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 17120.00, up 0.53% or Rs 90.00 from its previous closing of Rs 17030.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 1809 lots on NCDEX.
