Jeera futures trade marginally lower on profit booking

Jeera futures traded marginally lower on NCDEX, as market participants booked their profits on weak advices from physical markets. Besides, sufficient stocks position following higher supplies from producing regions too fuelled the downtrend.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 19265.00, down by 0.26% or Rs 50.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19315.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4290 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 19690.00, down by 0.20% or Rs 40.00 from its previous closing of Rs 19730.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 4833 lots on NCDEX.
